About the Author

Sarah Weavers lives in the UK with her husband, daughters and Louie the dog.

After relaying the real life story of Louie saving a hedgehog to a friend, the friend suggested turning the tale into a children's story.

Using reenactments, along with photos taken on the day of the rescue and cartoonising them into a child friendly format, we were able to share the magical, unseen bond that transcends species.

Since saving the hedgehog, further wildlife adventures have followed, which gave inspiration for our future Louie The Dog™ books, so stay tuned.
